Skid handling conveyor systems are dual track modular floor systems compromised of belt or chain driven roller bed sections. They are often used in production, accumulating, buffer, lifting applications, or high-speed transfers with precise job placement. We typically use hold tables in conjunction with skid handling conveyor systems because they allow the job to be lifted for the conveyor where it then can be transferred to another chain system or simply re-positioned on its original chain. These systems are beneficial because they offer hidden conveyor components, component flexibility, accumulation capabilities, and limited maintenance requirements. They also offer lower costs in manufacturing and pre-assembly operations.
